- Skills that you are great at and
- Services people need and are for which they are willing to pay your rate.
LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES
Years ago, my partner and I launched a concierge service business. Although we identified our core services, our ideal client base did, in fact, not want to pay our rates for those services.
Lesson learned: do your research thoroughly before you launch your business. Finding your core services is more than just identifying what you are good at and what you’re willing to do. It’s also about understanding the market and the value of your services.
